Chris Baugh

Chris Baugh, a native of Baltimore, has been a Friends board member for 11 years and has ably served as its recording secretary for the past nine. She attended the School for the Blind, and has a degree from the George Peabody College for Teachers (now Vanderbilt University). She has taught all of her working career, teaching a variety of grade and ability levels.

Chris is a self-professed people person, enjoys traveling, reading and listening to jazz and classical music. She is active in the Alumnae Association of the Maryland School for the Blind and serves on the Central Maryland Council for the Blind. She coordinates several “flea markets” a year at the Library whereby patrons can purchase tapes and Braille books at nominal costs.
